This Faith Daily Devotional features expanded verses, that are based on the Scripture selections used in Samuel Bagster’s classic Daily Light On The Daily Path devotional. Scripture citations follow verses. The classic devotional text is highlighted in bold.
This Christian devotional has an open format, not tied to a particular day of the year. Rather, all devotional topics are numbered. They can be read any time, in any order. You can read the devotional topics at your own pace, such as multiple topics per day, or a single devotional topic per day. Try to read several devotional topics each day.
This devotional no longer features specific morning, or evening, suggested readings. If you prefer to read the devotional in the classic format, read it sequentially, with odd numbered devotional topics in the morning and even numbered topics in the evening.
The classic devotional has been used for hundreds of years to help people learn, and meditate on, God’s Holy Word. I pray that this expanded devotional will bless you! You can use it diligently every day to help develop a deeper relationship with God.
Do you trust in Jesus, as your Lord, Savior, Deliverer and Soon Coming King? If not, put your trust in His Promise, to save and deliver you, and give you eternal life. Continue with faith and hope in Him. Be filled and refreshed by God’s Word and Spirit.
