Faith is not a passive activity, but must be accompanied by actions, or acts, serving to continually demonstrate that you believe God. Be careful how you spend your time. You will one day stand before The Almighty, to give an account of your stewardship. Faith without works, is dead, profiting nothing. Acts confirm faith. See James 2:14-26. Faith comes by hearing God’s Word, and is confirmed by your actions. “But be ye doers of the word, and not hearers only, deceiving your own selves.” James 1:22. “Fight the good fight of faith…” 1 Timothy 6:12. The fight of faith is the only fight Christians need to fight! Acting in faith on God’s Word is all that is necessary. Jesus already defeated sin, the devil, and sickness. To prevent you from having faith, the devil will fight you from having knowledge and understanding of God’s Word.

My people are destroyed for lack of knowledge…” Hosea 4:6. Hold onto God’s Wisdom and Understanding. Wisdom is the principal thing; therefore get wisdom: and with all thy getting get understanding.” Proverbs 4:7. What you do not understand, the enemy steals. When any one heareth the word of the kingdom, and understandeth it not, then cometh the wicked one, and catcheth away that which was sown in his heart. This is he which received seed by the way side.” Matthew 13:9. The enemy comes to steal, kill, and destroy. See John 10:10.

Faith is acting on God’s Word, and requires you to have knowledge of God’s Word. “So then faith cometh by hearing, and hearing by the word of God.” Romans 10:17. The enemy fights you from hearing, understanding, believing, and acting in faith on, God’s Promises from His Word. You need a knowledge of God’s Word, so you will have faith. Pray for wisdom and understanding. Spend time in God’s Word. God’s Word works! Pray to The Father, In The Name Of Jesus, exercising authority. “And whatsoever ye shall ask in my name, that will I do, that the Father may be glorified in the Son. If ye shall ask any thing in my name, I will do it.” John 14:13-14. “And in that day ye shall ask me nothing. Verily, verily, I say unto you, Whatsoever ye shall ask the Father in my name, he will give it you. Hitherto have ye asked nothing in my name: ask, and ye shall receive, that your joy may be full.” John 16:23-24.

Live life filled with joy and acts of faith. God delights is fulfilling Promises in His Word. Meet conditions of His Promises. Receive everything by faith through Jesus. Flee sin. “Wherefore seeing we also are compassed about with so great a cloud of witnesses, let us lay aside every weight, and the sin which doth so easily beset us, and let us run with patience the race that is set before us, Looking unto Jesus the author and finisher of our faith; who for the joy that was set before him endured the cross, despising the shame, and is set down at the right hand of the throne of God.” Hebrews 12:1-2. Faithfully run the race God has given to you.
