God Loves You

God loves you! He does not want you to live a sick, fearful, stressed, or defeated life. “Beloved, I wish above all things that thou mayest prosper and be in health, even as thy soul prospereth.” 3 John 1:2. “…I am come that they might have life, and that they might have it more abundantly.” John 10:10. God desires you to be reconciled to Him.

You glorify God by keeping His Commands, and displaying His Love to other people. Too many people are led by their pride and lusts. You are to live having faith in God.

But seek ye first the kingdom of God, and his righteousness; and all these things shall be added unto you.” Matthew 6:33. Seek God’s Will so you will prosper.

Trust in the LORD with all thine heart; and lean not unto thine own understanding. In all thy ways acknowledge him, and he shall direct thy paths.” Proverbs 3:5-6. Do not err by trusting in your own reasoning or abilities. Instead have faith in God.

Blessed are they which do hunger and thirst after righteousness: for they shall be filled.” Matthew 5:6. Live, hungering and thirsting after God’s Righteousness. Do not seek fame, attention, recognition, or glory for yourself. Always glorify God.

Beware of pride, which leads to destruction, rebellion, and all forms of sinful behavior. When you focus on self, you ignore a true relationship with God through Jesus Christ.

By acknowledging your total dependance on God, you deny yourself the gratification of relying on yourself. Humility seeks for you to become less important, and for God to have preeminence. “For in him we live, and move, and have our being…” Acts 17:28.

“For I say, through the grace given unto me, to every man that is among you, not to think of himself more highly than he ought to think; but to think soberly, according as God hath dealt to every man the measure of faith.” Romans 12:3. “Pride goeth before destruction, and an haughty spirit before a fall.” Proverbs 16:18. You either will rebel against God, or you will trust Him completely, by choosing to believe Him.

Repentance is the key to the Christian life. If you repent, and turn from your sins, God will forgive you. If you are rebellious, stubborn, or choose to ignore God, separation from God occurs. Jesus Christ paid a high price, purchasing forgiveness for your sins! Be determined to only know Jesus Christ and Him Crucified. See 1 Corinthians 2:2. Draw near to God and repent. “Submit yourselves therefore to God. Resist the devil, and he will flee from you. Draw nigh to God, and he will draw nigh to you. Cleanse your hands, ye sinners; and purify your hearts, ye double minded.” James 4:7-8.
