Do The Father’s Will

Do The Father’s Will (PDF File)

The most important example Jesus gave to follow, was about doing The Father’s Will. Jesus came to do The Will Of His Father, and He Expects you to do the same also. Always stand in Christ’s Victory over the devil, always doing The Father’s Will. Not every one that saith unto me, Lord, Lord, shall enter into the kingdom of heaven; but he that doeth the will of my Father which is in heaven.” Matthew 7:21.

For by grace are ye saved through faith; and that not of yourselves: it is the gift of God: Not of works, lest any man should boast. For we are his workmanship, created in Christ Jesus unto good works, which God hath before ordained that we should walk in them.” Ephesians 2:8-10. Be obedient and loyal, doing God’s Will.

This is not a works based salvation, but a salvation of grace, that is received by faith. Your faith is demonstrated and confirmed by your works, doing The Father’s Will. You are known by your fruit, and are called to bear much good fruit that glorifies God. Narrow is the way that leads to God, and many will miss it, if they are not careful. SeeMatthew 7:13-27. “Herein is my Father glorified, that ye bear much fruit; so shall ye be my disciples.” “If ye love me, keep my commandments.” “If ye keep my commandments, ye shall abide in my love; even as I have kept my Father’s commandments, and abide in his love.” John 15:8, 14:15, 15:10. Obediently abide.

Jesus warned in the last days many would depart from the faith and do their own will.  Even on The Cross, Jesus prayed for The Father’s Will to be done, not His Own Will.  “…not my will, but thine, be done.” Luke 22:42. You will either be ruled by self, or by God. “This know also, that in the last days perilous times shall come. For men shall be lovers of their own selves, covetous, boasters, proud, blasphemers, disobedient to parents, unthankful, unholy, Without natural affection, trucebreakers, false accusers, incontinent, fierce, despisers of those that are good, Traitors, heady, highminded, lovers of pleasures more than lovers of God; Having a form of godliness, but denying the power thereof: from such turn away.” 2 Timothy 3:1-5.

Jesus is coming back for His Church, an obedient bride that is without spot or wrinkle. He wants you to be washed clean by His Word, having a renewed mind, to serve Him. Many people will not be properly ready for Christ’s Return. It is not profession, but the bearing of much fruit that glorifies God. Anyone can say they belong to Him, but not everyone will bear much good fruit obediently doing The Father’s Will.

“Ye have not chosen me, but I have chosen you, and ordained you, that ye should go and bring forth fruit, and that your fruit should remain: that whatsoever ye shall ask of the Father in my name, he may give it you.” John 15:16. Glorify God!
